Mid Term Break What's On in Galway 2011

Mid-term Break is coming up this month,some schools are only closed Monday 21st and 22nd and some are closed the entire week.
Here are some suggestions to help keep the kids busy!

There are some great Mid Term Break Camps:

• Galway Atlantaquaria - Fur, Feathers, Skin & Scales - Science one-day Workshop on Feb 22nd & Feb 25th
• Galway Dive School - Seal Team Dive Camp - 5 day camp (1pm - 2pm each day) for 10yr+
• Galway Dive School - Bubblemaker Dive Camp - one day camp introduction to scuba for 8yr+ (Feb 21st - Feb 25th)
• Hipkidz - Mid Term Break Camp - Fun Supervised Activities - Lunch included

• Sat Feb 19th - Engineer's Week Family Fun Day
• Sun Feb 20th - Sun Day Fun Day Family Day Out in aid of Meningitis Trust

Take some time to explore Secret Galway & Secret Salthill in preparation for the Kenny's Bookshop Big Family Book Quiz.

A visit to a local pet farm is great idea this time of year!
Or go on a Family Nature Walk and spot all the signs of spring.. we have be waiting long enough for spring to come :)
Burn off some of the kids excess energy in some of Galway's Playgrounds

If the weather isn't so good, there are some great kids movies on or coming this month to cinemas in Galway, including Tangled, Yogi Bear and Gnomeo and Juliet.
Visit the Galway City Museum!
